As a Senior Learning Experience Designer, you'll create scalable, digital-first learning experiences that help GitLab customers get real value from our AI powered DevSecOps platform. You’ll focus on building modular, on-demand digital courses and virtual instructor led training, applying adult learning theory, instructional design best practices, and your technical aptitude to craft content that meets customers where they are and helps them grow into confident GitLab champions. You’ll work closely with subject matter experts and cross-functional partners to keep content aligned with product updates, and you’ll iterate based on data and learner feedback so our education programs stay current, impactful, and easy to consume at scale.

Create and refine engaging online programs, lessons, and modules that prepare educators and internal partners to deliver the SAT Suite of Assessments with excellence. Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders across CRA, Operations, Policy, and Technology to ensure all training content is accurate, impactful, and aligned with evolving processes. Support efforts to modularize and modernize training approach.

Design and implement the technology infrastructure and learning systems that power enablement at scale for our internal teams and external Expert Contributor (EC) network. You’ll architect and build user-centered learning experiences, develop assessment frameworks, implement learning and knowledge base platforms, and establish the data infrastructure that enables effectiveness measurement. Combines instructional design, user experience design, learning technology implementation, and data analytics to create seamless, engaging learning journeys.

We’re looking for a forward-thinking Learning & Development Specialist (Instructional Designer) who’s passionate about designing personalized, tech-enabled learning experiences that prepare our Customer and Creator Support advisors to handle complex conversations and troubleshooting. This role blends learning design, technology, and operations, helping to shape how our advisors learn, grow, and perform in an increasingly AI-powered environment. You’ll design learning experiences that span the full advisor journey—from onboarding and continuous development to skill mastery and performance enablement—while helping us evolve into a Learning Operations function that’s scalable, data-driven, and human-centered.

Jane is looking for a Senior Learning Experience Designer to join Jane’s Learning & Development (L&D) team on a maternity leave contract; you’ll translate strategy into learning programs, create engaging learning experiences, and partner deeply with stakeholders to ensure that learning supports both career growth and business performance.
